Education professionals often have to make academic presentations either of their own work or to expose a particular topic.

NOTE:

  • First, the PowerPoint 2007/2010 program will open.
  • A new blank slide will be created.

  • Next, the image corresponding to Slide1 will be inserted.

  • Using the text box you must indicate the data referring to the type of work, ie the title of the work, the author, the subject to which it belongs, the name of the teacher, the members of the group, the name of the director, among other information that corresponds. Give the format to the text that is considered most appropriate.

  • In some cases you can leave 1 or 2 blank pages below the cover as a courtesy.
  • Next, a new blank slide will be created and the image corresponding to slide 2 will be inserted. There it is convenient to include a brief summary of the work that is between 100 and 300 words. (See an example):

  • Then new blank slides will be created and the following images will be inserted, as detailed below:

Slide 3:
Introduction: briefly define the purpose and objectives, motivation, scope (chronological, geographical, typological, etc.) and its justification.

Slide 4:
Body of work: it has to be divided into numbered chapters, grouped into: theory, method, results and discussion.

Slide5:
Conclusions and / or recommendations

Slide6:
Annexes: its purpose may be to complete the content of the work with information that has not been added.

Slide7:
Bibliography: the set of documents consulted.

Slide8:
Alphabetical indexes
