The PIN is a security method that has the SIM, which refers to a code of approximately 4 digits, which is requested by the system when a person wishes to enter the phone and enjoy the services of said chip. It is possible that this PIN we want to change it at some point, since not being a password that we enter too often, we may forget it and want to configure one that we can remember more easily..

This feature can be activated using the operating system of the mobile, although for this many phones must perform a lot of steps, however, this does not happen in the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus , because to achieve this you just have to complete these procedures .

The SIM card must be locked ( the SIM PIN must be enabled ) in order to change the PIN of the current SIM.

Enabling the SIM card's PIN locks the card so Verizon services can not be used until the correct code is entered. If an incorrect PIN is entered several times, see Locate the PIN / PUK of the SIM card 4G - My Verizon website to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
These instructions only apply to standard mode and the default Home screen layout .
  2. Navigate: Settings > Biometrics and security .
  3. From the Security section, tap Other security settings .
  4. Tap Set up SIM card lock .
  5. Tap Change SIM card PIN .
  6. Enter the old SIM PIN (current SIM PIN) then tap OK .
The PIN of the default SIM is 1111.
  7. Enter the new SIM PIN then tap OK .
  8. Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap OK .
