Although the Belgian market is deprived of the new Nintendo mobile game, it is still possible to play it by cunning.
The cult racing game featuring Mario and all his cronies arrived on mobile on September 25, making the happiness of many players around the world. Unfortunately, the Belgians could not enjoy the Nintendo game, and this, because of the Belgian anti-lootbox legislation.
But Mario fans can rest assured, there is a relatively simple solution to take advantage of it.
Create a new Apple account
To be able to get on the track alongside Mario, Peach and companies, you will need to create a foreign Apple account. Obviously, it is important to choose a country in which the game is available, especially France.
To do this, head to iTunes or Apple to create a new Apple ID. Fill in the requested information, being careful to indicate a country in which the game is available.
On the next page, Apple will ask for several personal details, including a payment method and a billing address.
You can skip the payment method step by selecting "none". As for the billing address, if you do not know one, go to Google Maps to locate an address and fill it in the form.
Once you have validated your registration, log in with your new account on the App Store to download Mario Kart Tour.
Change your place of residence
Another solution: replace your country of residence. To do this, from an iPhone, iPad or iTouch, go to the settings of your device, your name and select iTunes Store and App Store, then press your Apple ID.
Then go to "Country / Region" then to "Modify the country or region". Then choose a new country such as France and confirm the change.
You will then need to enter a method of payment and a billing address. You can skip the payment method step, but for the billing address, take a quick tour on Google Maps to find a real address in the country you have entered. Finally, add a phone number and voila.
Download Mario Kart Tour
With your foreign Apple account, you can go to the App Store and download Nintendo's new mobile game, Mario Kart Tour.
Note that you will also need a Nintendo Account to play it. This will have to inform a country in which the game is officially available. To remedy this, nothing could be simpler; Go to your Nintendo Account, then on the "User Information" tab and finally select the "modify" button to change the country. Once this is done, save everything.
Note that changing Apple accounts can have drawbacks, especially with regard to Apple Music.
