iMessage lets you notify messages read in a conversation.

Apple smartphones have the distinction of offering a native message exchange application, iMessage. An interesting application for people using several Apple products since it is available on both iPhone and iPad and allows communication without going through its SMS package. In fact, iMessage offers its users to send messages to correspondents who also own Apple products through a wifi connection or via mobile data.

If the application is interesting, it can sometimes create frustration among its users since it allows to know when the correspondent has read his message. A long wait sometimes follows before receiving a response.

To activate this option, simply go to the Settings of your iPhone or iPad, direction "Messages". Check that iMessage is actually activated, otherwise the messages sent will be traditional SMS. Then activate or deactivate the "Read confirmation" option on the same page.

Depending on what you choose - and what your correspondent has chosen - you will be notified when he has read your message. This information will be communicated to you thanks to the presence of a "Read" next to your messages in the conversation, like other messaging applications of the kind.

It is also possible to activate the option directly from the application. When opening a conversation, just click on the information "i", and activate or deactivate the option.

Note that the functionality, once activated, is for all of your conversations.
