1. How to set up Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro Android footprint

First I will explain how to configure the footprints and the steps are as follows:

Step 1

You must enter the “Settings” of the phone and for this you must press a gear-shaped icon that is in the main menu.

When you have entered, search and select a section called “Lock Screen and Password”, you must access this option.

Then you will see a tab that has the name "Add fingerprint", click on it to configure the fingerprint.

Your phone will tell you that you should put your fingerprint on the sensor so that it can be registered by the system of your Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro.

Then, on your screen the parts of your fingerprint that could be registered will appear and what you will have to do is press on the sensor with the whole fingerprint until the screen meter is completed and the fingerprint has been successfully registered.

Step 1

Access the "Settings" of the phone. To do this you must press a gear-shaped icon that is in the main menu of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro.

Once inside, you will have to find and select a section called “Lock Screen and Password”. You must access it.

Then, since you already have a registered fingerprint, a tab called “Manage fingerprints” will appear. Click on it to do the rest of the process.

You will have a list that shows the tracks you have registered. What you will have to do is select the one you are going to delete (Once deleted, you will have to re-register that fingerprint in case you want to use it again at some point).

Finally, a pop-up window will come out as a warning signal. The only thing left to complete the process is to confirm the total removal of the fingerprint and for that you will click on “Accept”. The process has been completed.
