For example, if you use Windows 10 on a tablet and don't want to connect an external keyboard, you can simply activate the virtual on-screen keyboard. We'll show you what to do.

Follow our step-by-step instructions , the quick start guide or the explanatory video .

1st step:

Open the settings via the start menu and the gear symbol or the key combination [Windows] + [I] . Then click or tap on " Ease of Access ".

2nd step:

Go in the left column on " keyboards r" and turn the slider under " Screen Keyboard Switch " by clicking on " A ".

3rd step:

You can now use the virtual on-screen keyboard. If you want to hide the keyboard again , simply close it using the cross .
