Entering all the holidays by hand every year is quite tedious. And looking at an external list again and again doesn't make it any better. This is why you can easily import the national holidays into the calendar as appointments in Outlook.

Add holidays to the Outlook calendar

With just a few clicks, all public holidays are displayed in addition to your normal appointments. Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the quick start guide .

1st step:

Open Outlook and click on " File " in the upper left corner . Then select " Options " at the bottom left .

2nd step:

In the options you have to click on the heading " Calendar ". In the middle you will find the button " Add Holidays ... ". Click on it.

3rd step:

A list of different countries opens in a pop-up. Simply tick each country whose holidays you would like to have on your own Outlook calendar. As a rule, Germany is selected directly for a German Office version. Clicking on " OK " saves your selection.

quick start Guide

  1. In Outlook, click on " File " in the upper left corner, then select " Options " at the bottom .
  2. Click here on the left on the category " Calendar . In the middle you will find the button" Add Holidays ... ". Click on it.
  3. You can now select the country from which you want to add public holidays in a pop-up. With a click on " OK " these are automatically loaded into your calendar.
