Add birthdays

Open the Google Calendar app on your smartphone and tap on the plus in the lower right corner and then go to " Appointment ".

Now give the birthday appointment a suitable name. You can then make further settings that are suitable for a birthday reminder: All day : Activate the switch for this option so that the birthday is marked for the whole day. Once : Tap this button to add a repeat of this event. An annual repetition is recommended for birthdays. Add notification : If you tap on it, you can create reminders for your event. You can have your birthday reminded a few days or weeks in advance. So you still have time to buy a suitable gift. Or you can be reminded of the day directly so as not to forget the congratulations. You can also change the color for the event below so that you can give all birthdays the same color to mark them specifically. When you are done, tap the " Save " button in the upper right corner .
