You have many options for changing the font in Outlook if you don't like the default font..

When you write e-mails in Outlook, you can change the font as you write. But if you don't like the default Microsoft Outlook font, you can change it to whatever font you prefer. The change is done very quickly.

Change the font when composing e-mails

Changing the font while composing an email in Outlook doesn't take much: just click on the current font in the upper left corner. A drop-down menu opens, from which you can now select a desired available font. If you have already written the e-mail, simply select the text and then click on the current font at the top and adjust it.

Change the default font of Outlook

If you want to change the default font of Outlook so that you don't have to set your favorite font every time you compose an e-mail, you can simply change this in the settings. Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions ..

Open Outlook and select the " File " tab in the top left corner.

Now select " Font ... " under each of the sections that you want to change: " For composing a message " changes the default font in emails. " To reply to or forward a message " changes the font used when you reply to or forward an e-mail. " Create and Read Unformatted Text Messages " changes the appearance of plain text messages just for you; Clear text messages sent to others remain in clear text for the recipients.

Now select the desired font and its size and then click on " OK ".

Repeat the process for each section if you want. Then close all windows with " OK ".

  1. Open Outlook and click on " File " in the upper left corner .
  2. Then select " Options " at the bottom left .
  3. Go to the " E-Mail " category and click on " Stationery and Fonts ".
  4. Here now select " Font ... " under each of the sections you want to change: " For composing a message ", " For replying or forwarding a message " and " Compose and read plain text messages ".
  5. Then select a font and size you want and click OK.
  6. After making the desired changes, close all windows with " OK ".
