The Flash Player is a plug-in in many browsers that enables media files to be played. These media files include, for example, videos or Flash games. The Flash Player is based on Adobe Flash and can be switched on and off manually in Opera.

Note: As of the end of 2020, the Flash Player is no longer available. You will then no longer be able to download or use it for Opera.

Change flash player settings in Opera

1st step:

In order to change the settings of the Flash Player, you have to enter the following into the address line of the Opera: opera: // settings / content / flash? Search = flash

2nd step:

You are now on the Flash settings page. You can enable and disable the software through " Allow websites to run Flash ". If the switch is on the right / blue , Flash is activated. If the switch is instead to the left / gray , Flash is deactivated. You can also add websites under " Block " or " Allow ", on which Flash is always deactivated or always allowed.
