Nowadays operating systems offer the possibility to navigate between the different folders using the terminal. To do this you usually use the cd command and go to the direct path of the folder . This opens that specific folder on the command line that is intended to perform administrative tasks or some type of installation, etc..

This task is frequently used at the administrative level, but instead of using the cd command, we have the possibility of using a direct method to save time and perform this task more easily. Here we explain how you can carry out this process quickly from the Linux operating system with Ubuntu.

Step 1

For this case we will use Ubuntu 19.04 and the process is simple, for this we must access the Files option:

Step 2

When accessing there we will locate the folder we want to open in the terminal and right click on it to select the Open in a terminal option: image
Step 3

This will make that selected folder open in the Linux terminal:

How we have been able to verify, it is a simpler way with which to be able to directly access from a folder to the terminal, with which we will be simplifying the work..
