I have a Samsung Galaxy S10e running Android 10. I have tried to clear the cache for Instagram multiple times without success. When I click the clear cache, it shows to have erased the cache data, but when I go back to the app settings page and then back into the storage page, it shows the cache data is still there. I have restarted the phone and have the same results.
I have an LG V40 ThinQ with Android 10.0.  Your method does not work on my phone.  When I tap "Clear Cache", the 206 mb becomes 0.  However, when I back out & go back in, the cache returns to 206 mb.
